I love hugs; it brings me closer to the ones I love. One of my favorite things to do is approach my wife and tell her, “Can I get a hug?” I reach out and receive the hug with love and joy in my heart. I love it, and it makes me feel complete. Not only do I enjoy hugs from the love of my life, but I also enjoy hugging my nieces and nephews, my brother, my mom, and dad, when I feel their joy I feel joy. The next time you are about to give and receive a hug, take the time to savor the moment. Even if it’s for a short second, that touch can and will heal your soul.
