Stressed? 7 Tips On How To Reduce Stress And Conquer Your World

Who doesn’t have stress? We all experience it. There is such a thing as good stress, better known as eustress. Eustress drives your adrenaline and excitement But, when you are experiencing more distress, rather than eustress that’s when problems start to happen. It’s important to know your body and learn how to reduce the bad stress.

By now you know that I can be a little stress ball of some sort. After all, I am human. I chose Wellbeing Coaching because I find it fascinating. We either take care of who we are, or we don’t. This past week I became stressed out when I looked back on my timeline and hadn't seen much progress. Ouch, that hurt. My meditating and reflecting helped me. I came up with a workbook about reducing stress to help everyone that is willing to grow and conquer their world. I chose to conquer my world, how about you?

I’m excited to share with you the workbook that I created. It has a couple of exercises to help you identify the problem and work towards resolving your challange. It shows you how to get back into the swing of things slowly. It’s brilliant; it’s exciting. It’s a simple workbook that creates awareness and strength. You are going to love it.

I will share with you the seven ways to get back into gear to feel happier, calmer and stronger.

  1. Exercise - Go for a nice walk or hardcore crossfit whatever works for you, but get active.

  2. Nutrition - Choose food low in fat, low in sugar and low in salt.

  3. Sleep- Sleep 7-8 hours to wake up refreshed. Avoid drugs, medication or alcohol to help you fall asleep.

  4. Journal - Write your story, make up fun facts, write about what makes you happy.

  5. Practice Self-Love - Repeat positive affirmations, focus on your good qualities, do something just for you, and do not compare yourself to others.

  6. Good Time Management - Plan ahead, make a weekly schedule and set SMART goals.

  7. Relax - Take a warm shower or bath, practice physical touch with a partner, a hug, holding hands or pet your pets that also reduces stress.

In summary, these are simple yet challenging at the same time. Look out for my workbook this coming week. Have a fantastic day.
